So I have been working for the company that I am at for not yet 4 months. I was very scared at first due to the fact I was at my last job for a little over 4 years. I was comfortable to say the least and I really truly did enjoy working there. I loved the people I worked with and my boss was great.
The first month there I was still debating if I enjoyed it. Yes I liked the switch, didn't really like the hours (still having trouble with the hours). I now see that I have made a very good decision. I noticed right up front that some of my co-workers were very out going and eager to welcome me to the group. I quickly developed friendships with many of them.
It is also a family run business and I liked that aspect of the company. About 15 years ago while in high school and during my early 20's I worked for another family run business. They tend to care more about the employee's then a regular corporation would. They treat you with respect and they know they need their employees in order to run their business.
Recently I had a death in my family. This is where their caring came in big time. They were concerned with me and my family, all praying for us that we stay strong and make it through this hard time. When I arrived at the wake I saw the flowers they sent and they were beautiful! About half way though the wake I had a surprise visitor, my boss had stopped by to pay his respects. I was shocked and touched by this, more then words can say. I don't think I can find a better company to work for or better people. I can see why so many of their employees stay for so long, they care about their business and the people that help make that business run!!
I thank you all for how much you have touched me in this hard time. I want you all to know that knowing how kind and caring you are has helped me though. I enjoy working with you all and look forward to a long working relationship. Thank You all from my heart!!!
