First one, why not be about HP

So I received my laptop back from HP customer care today. It was not working due to a stupid place for HP & Microsoft to place the product sticker. On the bottom of the damn laptop! What was that over priced suit thinking when they thought that up? It must have gone like this:

Over priced suit sitting in his office nothing to do put think of a way to place the product code on a computer, because it is cost effect not to send disks. SO he is picking his nose and BAM! It comes to him, why not place a PAPER sticker on the bottom of a laptop with a very important number that one will need in the future if they need to reformat their hard drive OR there is a problem that has to be fixed.

So first I try a chat with HP it too her over 30 min. to tell me someone will get to me within 24 to 48 hours. Are you KIDDING ME!! So I told her not to bother and I called HP myself. After being on the phone with a fella for over an hour and TWO Microsoft customer service reps. I am given a new number.

Now what got me about Microsoft, they asked me if I had the disks. If you remember from the over priced suit, they don't send disks. So I told the lady that she must be aware they Microsoft no longer supply these disks. I really do hope for their sake and my sanity that I will not need to contact either company again.

It gets better with our HP laptop. It went dead within like 3 days of the 1 year purchase date. Call HP, on the phone for 2 hours, then they send the box. We sent it in. It came back in May or June. They replaced the motherboard, and some other things I think. Within a week or so of recieving the machine back, they call to state that the machine is going to take ANOTHER 2 weeks. They didn't just do this to 1 phone line listed on the account but BOTH phone lines!! Both Matt and I told them we had it back in our possession. (For they had called each of our cell phones listed) So it's here, and Skype was introduced to us, so we try it out. You have to hold the monitor in a funky crazy way, so that you can be heard through the mic. And tyoe 1 handed. Get on the phone with HP, no, we won't send it back at this point, not too important. We will just live with it, enjoy having the computer back, and then when ready call to have a boz shipped. Wellll... it went dead agian. This time it was gone for 2 months. They agian replaced the motherboard, this time the battery, and the hadrdrive. The battery was depreciating in life in 10-20 minutes. Well, we get it back, and the battery does not even last 20 minutes, even after being fully charged. So I guess we will just send it back once something happens AGIAN. And mark the battery like I heard someone doing to their HP keyboard. He was told that even though 1 key was broken on the keyboard on the laptop, the WHOLE keyboard was going to be replaced. So to test the theory, a bright color was painted on EACH key, and shipped. Only 1 key came back the regular color, and many others still had the paint on them...

Go Figure.
